Primary Processing Plant - Edmonton
The Edmonton North primary plant processes broilers, turkey and fowl. This is Lilydale's only turkey plant in Alberta handling over 90% of the turkeys raised here. The plant specializes in “retail ready” tray pack turkey products and whole body turkey sales both wet chill and air chill. Turkey products are marketed under the Lilydale brand for a premium quality item. Along with turkey, this plant also produces retail ready chicken tray pack products under the name brand of Country Fair as well as bulk products. It also operates as the primary processor of fowl to supply further processing plants with raw product.

Further Processing - Edmonton
The south Edmonton plant is the primary provider of further processed products within the Lilydale operation. Several hundred varieties of products are created at this location, from fresh sausage, deli and fully cooked poultry products. We offer a variety of flavored fresh sausage in either chicken, turkey, beef and pork, deli poultry products from flavored deli roasts whole or sliced, to smoked sausages and wieners. This high growth division will become increasingly involved in developing fully cooked value added food products for a broad market base.

Saskatchewan

Primary Processing - Wynyard Plant-Wynyard.jpg
This facility processes and packages Saskatchewan grown broiler chicken. The original section of the building was built in the late 1960’s and has had numerous expansions to bring it to its current layout. Plant capacity is about 625,000 broiler chicken a week. The largest portion of this enters the market as 9-piece cut up birds, sold into the ever growing restaurant industry in Western Canada. It also produces a superior quality line of tray packaged products into major retail outlets.

Wynyard Primary Processing Plant also runs a rendering facility located 12 kms west of Wynyard, which produces high quality tallow and meal into the pet food industry.
