Alberta Primary Processing Plant - Edmonton Located in the north of the city, the Edmonton primary processing plant processes fresh and frozen turkey products in whole body or cut up form for retail, food service and industrial customers. This facility is Lilydale's only turkey plant in Alberta, handling over 90% of the turkeys raised across the province as well as a large portion of turkeys grown in Saskatchewan. Ready to cook cut up tray packed products are sold under the "Lilydale" premium brand as well as under several provate label brands and can be purchased at most retail outlets in Alberta. Fresh and frozen whole body products can also be purchased through major retailers throughout the province. At festive season, look for "Roast & Boast" cook from frozen, "Lilydale" premium and Savoury Farms utility grade whole turkeys. Further Processing Plant - Edmonton The south Edmonton plant is the primary provider of further processed products within the Lilydale operation. Several hundred varieties of products are created at this location, including fresh sausage, deli and fully cooked poultry products. We offer a variety of flavored fresh sausage in either chicken, turkey, beef and pork, deli poultry products from flavored deli roasts whole or sliced, to smoked sausages and wieners. This high growth division will become increasingly involved in developing fully cooked value added food products for a broad market base. Chicken Processing Plant - Calgary The Calgary plant is a North American industry leader in producing air-chilled chicken products. This dedicated chicken plant specializes in “retail ready” tray-packed products that are available fresh across Canada. Products are marketed under the Lilydale brand name as a premium quality item. Additional products are produced under the Country Fair brand for value items or as private label products for large food service and retail chains.
British Columbia Turkey Processing Plant - Abbotsford
Abbotsford specializes in creating both fresh and frozen turkey. Each year over 2 million fresh and frozen turkeys are packaged for traditional as well as non-traditional markets. In addition, British Columbia leads the Canadian market in consumption of further processed turkey products. This market continues to grow as consumers recognize the health benefits of turkey products and adopt this food item into their everyday meal planning.
Chicken Processing plant - Port Coquitlam This location also uses air-chilled technology and is a North American leader in processing fresh chicken products. This plant will play a key role in supplying the growing British Columbia market as well as providing product to international customers. Saskatchewan Primary Processing Plant - Wynyard  This facility processes and packages Saskatchewan grown broiler chicken. The original section of the building was built in the late 1960’s and has had numerous expansions to bring it to its current layout. Plant capacity is about 625,000 broiler chickens a week. The largest portion of this enters the market as 9-piece cut up birds, sold into the ever growing restaurant industry in Western Canada. This plant also produces a superior quality line of tray packaged products into major retail outlets.
