Piri Piri Chicken

8 Lilydale chicken legs with thighs attached
1 cup garlic chili sauce
2 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
2 tsp dry oregano
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp. Kosher salt


  1. Marinate chicken legs in a zip lock bag for no less than an hour or overnight. 
  2. Preheat BBQ grill to 450º. Place marinated Lilydale chicken legs skin side down, on the grill, reserving the balance of marinade for brushing on during the grilling process. 
  3. Grill for 3-4 minutes, then turn and brush on more marinade. Close lid and turn the heat down to 350º, brushing sauce on every 5 minutes. 
  4. Continue to cook for a total of 35 minutes or until juices run clear when pierced in the thickest part. 
  5. Serve with salad and roasted potatoes.
