Turkey Chili

1 package (500 g)

2cloves of garlic

1onion, chopped

2carrots, diced

1celery stalk, chopped

10 (2 cups)mushrooms, sliced

1 tbsp (25 ml)Chili powder

1 tsp (5 ml)Oregano

1 tsp (5 ml)Cumin

1/2 tsp (2 ml)Paprika

1/4 tsp (1 ml)salt

Dasheach of black pepper, Tabasco sauce

19 oz (540 ml)canned diced tomatoes, undrained

19 oz (540 ml)canned kidney beans, drained
- In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat, brown garlic and Lilydale® Ground Turkey for 5 minutes or until turkey is firm.
- Add vegetables and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir in seasonings. Cook, stirring for another 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and beans; bring to a boil, breaking tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Uncover and simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Serve with rice, tacos, tortillas and buns. Garnish with sour cream, cheese, and avocado.
