Turkey Cacciatore


  • 2 lbs (1 kg)
  • 1 can (19 oz)
    tomatoes
  • 1 can (5.5 oz)
    tomato paste
  • 1 cup (250 mL)
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1
    small onion, minced
  • 1 tsp (5 mL)
    thyme
  • 1 1/2 cup (375 mL)
    frozen peas
  • 1 tsp (5 mL)
    each salt and pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place Lilydale® Boneless, Skinless Turkey Thighs in a large casserole dish. Add remaining ingredients (except peas); cover and bake for 2 to 3 hours or until turkey is tender.
  2. Sprinkle peas over top, cover and bake 5 minutes longer, or until peas are heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve with cooked pasta.
